San Francisco Dosa Company, www.sfdosa.com, is a new dosa catering service across the Bay Area looking for a few really great people to start and grow with the company. We will be serving the freshest dosas possible made with hand-crafted batters and will offer an array of top-quality ingredients. 

The positions available are prep-person, cashier/waitperson, and a dosa maker who is a fast cook and loves to perform. Our dosas will be made live at farmer's markets or at catering parties so there may be an audience :)

These are ALL customer service positions. Strong customer service skills are an absolute must. Retail food experience is desirable.

Applicants must have the following attributes to be considered:

• Safe car driving record with a valid drivers license.
• Ability to work in a fast paced catering or farmer's market environment.
• Positive, reliable and friendly
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Posses a strong work ethic with the ability to multitask and attention to detail
• Availability between the hours of 6:45 am and 9:30 pm, 5 days a week
• Ability to work both weekdays and weekends, including holidays
• Prior experience making Dosas is a plus, but not required

Duties include:

• Daily setup and cleanup of farmer's market events and catering events
• Cashiering (order/item entry into point of sale system, cash handling)
• Making dosas, doing prep-work for dosas
• Making coffee, tea, cider
• Maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the catering events and farmer's markets (dusting, facing product, sweeping, mopping, etc.)
• Greeting and assisting customers with purchases
• Tracking quality and freshness of items
• Maintaining waste logs
• Daily setup and cleanup of the dosas station
• Cleaning/cutting/mixing/arranging ingredients for dosas
• Inventory and ordering of ingredients
• Checking in orders from multiple wholesalers
